Planning on taking a South African safari during your time at the 2010 World Cup? Better plan ahead!
South Africa is gearing up to attract over 10-million tourists during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The tourism board is telling tourist to begin bookings at its national parks a year ahead of the World Cup in order to ensure visitors easy access.
San Parks, which manages 21 national parks across the country, opened bookings for June and July next year to enable tourists who want to be accommodated in any of South Africa’s world-renowned national parks to plan ahead and avoid being locked out due to high demand.
If you plan on going on safari between games South Africa is the place to be – it has five major safari regions and boasts some of the best lodges and wildlife viewing on the continent.

Kaka was introduced to at least 50,000 Real Madrid fans at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday wearing Fernando Gago’s No. 8 shirt.
